WELCOME! Goatsbeard Farm is situated in the rolling hills of central Missouri, just north of the Mighty Missouri River. We are a small family farm dedicated to creating a sustainable livelihood from the land. THE GOATS Our Alpine, Nubian and Saanen goats are out on pasture daily, grazing the diverse grasses and legumes and getting vital exercise and sunlight. Happy and healthy animals give good milk!

Our cheeses are made using time-honored farmstead techniques. Beginning with good pastures, high quality alfalfa and grain, we produce clean, sweet and wholesome milk which is immediately turned to cheese. Each cheese is hand-ladled, preserving the delicate curd structure and thus the cheese's texture and flavor. |
