Brandywine, Tapioca and Shasta greet the morning.
WHY CHEESE?
We at Goatsbeard Farm love cheese- from the fresh to the funky. Innumerable varieties of cheeses
exist; we hope to eventually make four to five different types.
Goatsbeard Farm
is named for the Goatsbeard flower. Tragopogon Dubius (the botanical name) is a wildflower found in fields and
meadows across Missouri. Growing two and one-half feet high, it is lemon-yellow colored with a large seed-head.
The goats are quite partial to this flowering delight! |
